CAREER SUMMARY

John Shepler has been brokering commercial real estate in Santa Fe since 1984. He was a leasing specialist for over a decade early on, and has since leased nearly two million square feet of Office, Retail and Industrial properties throughout Northern New Mexico, in particular, the Santa Fe core Retail and Office market. John clients include Wells Fargo, Corporate Properties Group, since 1996 as well as most financial institutions throughout Santa Fe. He handles many of the elite users and national companies either located in or moving to the area and is one of the few commercial brokers familiar with placing national tenants in the Los Alamos Market. John has brokered famed historic Plaza area and Canyon Road retail properties and been called upon as an expert/expert witness related to downtown property issues and market conditions and overviews.

John previously owned OMNI Commercial Properties then formed the Santa Fe Grubb & Ellis affiliate as a principal in 1999 with partner Leon Mellow. He has been Board Member and Chairman of the Commercial Council for the Santa Fe Association of Realtors since 1999 and enjoys teaching a segment of the New Realtors Orientation class.
