CAREER SUMMARY

JoAn started her career in commercial real estate as an accounting clerk with Grubb & Ellis|New Mexico and was promoted to Portfolio Manager before she left the property management division to pursue a career in the residential real estate industry.  In 2001, after four years as a community apartment manager, JoAn was promoted to District Manager with Bernard/Allison Management Services and provided daily oversight of the operations of multiple apartment communities for private owners as well as institutional investors.  JoAn returned to join the Grubb & Ellis|New Mexico property management team in 2008.

JoAn’s expertise includes detailed property inspections, financial management of multiple properties within a portfolio, and training and education for site employees.  JoAn’s current portfolio consists of 440,000 square feet of office and retail space, including Airport Professional Center, The Courtyard Shopping Center, the recently redeveloped Atrisco Ranch Plaza and Los Alamos Research Park.
