| CAREER SUMMARY Terrie Hertweck brings 20 years of experience in land development, commercial leasing, raw land sales and investment sales to her position as Vice President on the Grubb & Ellis | New Mexico brokerage team. Terrie launched her commercial real estate career in 1988 with CB Richard Ellis Commercial after completing the impressive employment as land acquisition coordinator for Bellamah Community Development. Additionally, she was Broker/Owner of an independently owned and operated office with six sales associates until she joined the Grubb & Ellis | New Mexico brokerage team in 1998. Specializing in investment property transactions as well as retail, industrial and office leasing, Terrie’s track record is impressive. Her expertise in the Albuquerque market includes exclusively representing Wal-Mart since 1999 with excess properties in New Mexico. In fact, Terrie was the first broker in the country to be awarded out-sourcing by Wal-Mart and became their exclusive representative. To date Terrie has successfully sub-leased or sold just under One Million (1,000,000) square feet for Wal-Mart. Additionally, Ms. Hertweck has sold some of the largest neighborhood shopping centers in Albuquerque including; Wyoming Mall, Market Center East, Atrisco Plaza, Fiesta Crossings and Rio Grande Plaza, along with several office complexes including: Montgomery Business Park and Candelaria Business Center. She has sold over 300 storage units, several raw land parcels and has handled pad site sales to national retailers such as; Walgreen’s, Starbucks Coffee and Furniture Row. During the past 5 years, Terrie has become personally involved with development from the ground up as well as with renovation and restoration of older existing properties. Cinema Center, an 11,000 square feet specialty strip center located off Jefferson and I-25, was developed by Terrie after purchasing the ground in 2003. In 2005 she won the NAIOP Retail Project of the Year Award of Excellence. In July 2007, Terrie sold Cinema Center on a 6.4% cap rate. Ms. Hertweck is currently renovating two 1940’s buildings in the downtown area located across from the federal courthouse; she represented her family trust in purchasing a 15,000 sq.ft. warehouse at Paseo del Norte and I-25 for future redevelopment and owns approx. 2 acres at I-40 and Paseo del Volcan also for future development. An avid networker, Terrie participates in many local and national organizations including CARNM, CCIM, NAIOP and ICSC. She welcomes new opportunities and challenges as a reputable real estate professional and brings many personal qualities to the table. Terrie has two (2) grown children, loves the outdoors, is an avid gardener and still believes in film although she also uses a digital camera for her many photo shoots. EDUCATION & AWARDS
