CAREER SUMMARY

Terrie Hertweck brings 15 years of experience in commercial sales and leasing, land development, raw land sales and investment sales to her position as Vice President on the Grubb & Ellis|New Mexico brokerage team. Terrie launched her commercial real estate career as a former associate with two major national commercial firms. Additionally, she was Broker/Owner of an independently owned and operated office with six sales associates until she joined the Grubb & Ellis|New Mexico brokerage team.

Specializing in retail property transactions, Terrie Hertweck’s track record is impressive. Her expertise in the Albuquerque market includes projects ranging from the Eastdale, Far North, and Zuni-San Mateo Shopping Centers to Guadalupe, Ross, and Atrisco Plazas.  As part of the Development Team, she handled the leasing of Towne Park Plaza which included placing Office Depot and PetSmart in-line and pad site sales to Wendy’s Hamburgers, Payless Shoe Source, and Taco Bell. In addition, Terrie handled the leasing of Ross Plaza for several years and subsequently represented its seller, successfully closing Albuquerque’s largest retail property sales transaction of that year.  In 1999 Terrie was awarded the assignment as Wal-Mart Stores’ exclusive representative in marketing over 500,000 sq. ft. of excessive properties.  She remains their exclusive agent in New Mexico to date.

An avid networker, Terrie participates in many local and national organizations to maximize her resources.  She welcomes the opportunities and challenges as a reputable real estate service provider and brings many qualifications to the table.
