CAREER SUMMARY

A fourth generation native of Albuquerque, Tom’s Family has been active members of the Albuquerque business community since the late 1800’s. Tom has an extensive educational background from the accredited Anderson Schools of Management at the University of New Mexico, where he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. His main courses of study were marketing and entrepreneurial studies. Tom has also completed all of the coveted CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and SIOR (Society of Industrial REALTORS®) coursework and will be sitting for the final CCIM Designation exam. He is currently the Vice President of the 500+ member New Mexico CCIM Chapter.

Tom works with a broad range of transactions that include landlord and tenant representation services, negotiation of all aspects of lease transactions, and working with investors looking to acquire and dispose of land. He has procured numerous leases and building sales, along with new construction and major renovations, upgrades and expansions. 
He has represented numerous clients over the past 5 years, and his most prominent project has been the successful marketing of seventeen Chevron Fuel Stations for Ever Ready Oil Company valued at over $12 million. Along with the successful acquisition of a major electrical switching station in Rio Rancho, New Mexico for PNM (The Public Utility Company of New Mexico) Mr. Franchini had to negotiate the acquisition of 40 different parcels of land within a two-month time period, successfully acquiring all the properties simultaneously.

Tom has been with Grubb & Ellis | New Mexico since 2004. Tom’s enthusiasm and engaging personality attracts clients with diverse professional backgrounds and unique real estate needs.
